I had a fun photo shoot on Saturday August 22 with a beautiful and creative young model, Alexandra Davis. She tried her hand at modeling a few years ago with my friend, photographer Stu Haluski, but had to put it on hold until recently. She is a natural in front of the camera, and worth every minute you spend with her. While she is comfortable with art nudes, I didn’t want to shoot that with her. Instead we went for a sweet soft romantic look using a Nikon 50mm f1.8 and window light, and then some looks inspired by the 2006 movie Black Snake Moan. The Confederate flag image was shot in studio using an Alien Bees B800 with the standard 7″ reflector, and the outdoor photos were shot with my trusty Tamron 28-75 f2.8 and natural light.
